If your business isn’t familiar with cloud computing, then you you’re likely falling behind the competition. Cloud computing is the foundation for organizations that are transitioning to a virtualized datacenter infrastructure. It can lead to high growth opportunities, lower cost, increase performance and efficiency. And the latest cloud computing study by TheInfoPro, a service of 451 Research, shows businesses are catching on.
The study projects a significant increase in the number of enterprise cloud computing projects over the coming years. Of the respondents that participated in the study (IT professionals and primary decision makers for large and midsize enterprises), 60% view cloud computing as “a natural evolution of IT service delivery.”
These are just some of the key takeaways from the research study, but the fact remains that cloud computing is quite applicable for both growing and challenged companies that are looking into ways to streamline and cut costs.
